fall autumn cozy lights coffee candle laptop bed

We all love to have those good, cozy, Fall nights where we just drink a good hot beverage and chill in bed while watching a good Halloween movie. It's the best feeling and the best way to relax. Fall nights are my favorite type of night so I had to write a routine for you all this blogtober. I hope you all enjoy reading and don't forget to comment below if you enjoyed the post and what your favorite Halloween/horror movie is! :)

1. So the first thing I love to do on a good, cozy, Fall night is to just come home and take off all of my makeup and change into some comfy clothes. I'm never ever cozy unless I'm in my comfy clothes which normally consists of some joggers, an oversized shirt, fuzzy socks, and my hair in a bun. There is literally no better feeling.

2. Once I'm done getting unready for the night, I head into the kitchen because it's right around dinner time by now. The thing I love to make in Fall is for sure either soup or chili because it's just such a warm and cozy food and that's what Fall is all about. My Mom raised me on soup in cooler weather, which is probably why I'm like this now haha.

3. After my food is finally done, I'll head into the living room and just turn something on TV. I know some think it's awful to watch TV while you eat but I've always done it and don't find anything wrong with it as long as you are comfortable. So I'll just put on normally something cute yet spooky like Coraline or The Corpse Bride but if I'm feeling like a TV show I'll turn on my new current favorite which is Life Sentence or my old favorite (which is great for Halloween and Fall) Pretty Little Liars because as you can tell, I love Lucy Hale.

4. Once I'm done with my dinner I'll turn off the TV and head back into the kitchen to wash all of the dishes I used to cook and eat with. Then I'll make me some sort of beverage that is Fallish. This consists of hot chocolate, some decaf french vanilla or hazelnut coffee, or green tea. Something is just so comforting about warm drinks in Fall and Winter.

5. Now that I have my drink in hand I'll head into the bedroom light my favorite fall candles and just crawl in my bed, grab my favorite book which right now is #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso and it's so good and motivating if you're a blogger or YouTuber or influencer or entrepreneur of any kind. If you want to check it out for yourself here's the link > #GIRLBOSS and she also has an interactive journal I got that I absolutely love and really helps me keep and stay on track and motivated which I will also add the link to here > #GIRLBOSS journal if you want to check it out. I highly recommend them because they have literally motivated me so much and made me feel like a bad a** and like I can do anything.

6. After I've read at least a chapter or two, or three I won't lie. I'll head back into the bathroom and brush my teeth and start on skincare. For skincare, all I do is just wash my face and get off all the extra makeup that I didn't get off earlier. Then I'll go in with my under eye cream and also my moisturizer because moisturizing is super important for your skin.

7. Now that I'm all pampered and relaxed, I'll crawl back into my bed, set my alarms, and go straight to sleep (if possible).

That's all for this post and my Fall night routine you guys! I hope you enjoyed reading and don't forget to comment your favorite Halloween movie! I need some new recommendations. Thank you so much for reading and don't forget to subscribe on the right top hand side and also remember that sharing is caring. :)

Side note: Affiliate links may be included in this post which means if you purchase them through the link I will receive a small commission off of the purchase. Every product I recommend has been tested by me or will be and is by a brand I trust. Would never send my audience to products I wouldn't use myself.

get ready morning beauty makeup

Have you ever been mad at yourself for being late? Maybe your tired of hearing your parents or boyfriend say hurry up and you're still getting ready. It happens to the best of us especially us makeup loving girls who like to be done up for the day/night. So what do you do to hurry this process up and get ready every day? In this post, I'm going to show you how.

Also, before we get started don't forget to sign up for my email list to grab your free calendar while you still can and to also stay up to date when a new post goes live! All I'll do is send over an email update everytime I upload a new post. :) It would be greatly appreciated and you won't regret it. Now, let's get into the post!

1. Shower at night.

Some of you might not love hearing this but it is SUCH a time saver. When you shower right before bed you don't have to stress about getting up in the morning nor having to dry your hair and everything else before leaving. You can literally just wake up and get ready and not have to worry about a shower or anything else besides washing your face and body or just your face and brushing your teeth of course!

2. Wake up earlier.

Not only will this help on time but you'll also be able to get everything done. When you wake up earlier you'll have time to do your makeup, hair, and also do any other work/beauty things you need to get done. It's also really productive and you'll feel much better when working because it'll seem like you have more time to do it all. Plus, you'll end up more awake and feel more energized eventually where afternoon sleeping in feels groggy and ill. Go for waking up earlier and see how much better you feel!

3. Prepare everything at night.

This will cut down on time so much in the mornings and throughout the next day. By preparing I mean go ahead and lay out your outfit at night, your makeup or bag, your hair tools, face wash/toothbrush & paste, set up your coffee and mug for the next morning so all you have to do is start it, have your morning water to chug by your bed on your nightstand so all you have to do is wake up and chug it, there are so many ways you could do this and it'll cut your time down 10x in the morning.

4. Clean at night.

This goes in hand with preparing everything at night. If you're like me and have more time at night, do it all then. Not only do I have more energy to do it at night but it's also a huge time saver and stress reliever for the next day. If you get it all done at night the next day all you have to worry about is eating, getting dressed, and leaving for work. :)

5. Cut down on your makeup routine.

If you're like I used to be, you'll have a ton of makeup and a set routine that takes probably 20-30 minutes because you like to take your time when you do your makeup. By cutting this in half though, you'll have much more time to do other things in the morning and you'll still look good. Instead of making your routine super perfect and all this jazz just throw on your foundation, eyeshadow, highlight/bronzer, brows, mascara, lashes, and a cute lip color. Looks like you spent 30 minutes in only 10-15 super easy to change up but also still looks good.

6. Skip the hair tools.

If you're prone to frizzy hair on certain days or you just have the time to style your hair you totally should! The thing is though if you want to get ready faster start skipping the hair unless like I said you have frizz or it NEEDS fixing. Otherwise, you're not only saving time but also your hair health by avoiding so much heat on it every day. Start wearing your hair natural or up more often. Wearing a braid, bun, ponytail, etc. will keep it also out of your face and you can make it really cute.

7. Start using overnight creams/moisturizers.

When you use these, you don't have to have as heavy of a skincare routine in the morning. If you don't have a heavy skincare routine in the morning your going to obviously be ready faster. So, use something that works on your skin overnight. That way when you get up all you have to worry about is washing your face and a good moisturizer. Not only will this help on time but also your skin because you can use undereye creams and wake up to no more puffy eyes or dark circles under them! It's a win-win!

Now you should have all of the tips to get ready faster in the mornings! So I hope you all enjoyed reading and got some great tips out of it. Thank you so much for reading and comment below your tips and tricks on getting ready faster in the mornings.

We all have had this problem at least once in our life. Sometimes you just can't get a good nights rest and we all get cases of insomnia. It can be frustrating because you have to get up early the next day for work or school. Then you'll wake up to puffy eyes with dark circles under them. After you spend forever getting ready in the morning the last thing you want to do is take longer just to cover up your tired eyes.

So, if you need to know how you can look less tired in the morning just keep reading! Also, don't forget to sign up in the pop up on my site where you can get a free printable calendar that's really cute. Not only that but you can be updated each and everytime a new post is live on my site. Don't forget to comment below you're favorite tips you found helpful in the post, I love to hear feedback from you all! :)

1. Use an overnight undereye cream.

This is something I've been doing for quite a while and really has helped me a lot. It's too simple not to do every night and really helps with dark circles and puffiness. All you have to do is put it on leave it overnight and wake up to your regular eyes! Instead of tired puffiness. My favorite one so far is definitely the Advanced Night Repair Eye Supercharged Complex Synchronized Recovery by Estee Lauder. It works wonders, especially on dark circles.

2. Use an eye mask.

You might not have even known about eye masks! I wrote about them a while back on my other blog just not on here yet. These things though are amazing but can also be obnoxious. They are made like two little patches you put under your eyes. You leave them for a few hours or overnight and wake up to really pretty, no puff, no dark circles, eyes! They work so well if only they weren't such a weird feeling to wear! Anyway, the Pack Your Bags Undereye Patches by Tarte is my go-to for sure. They work like magic and have that cooling sensation under my eye. Love these so much for undereye circles and puffiness. They also tend to really make my eyes seem more brightened and awake the next day.

3. Get enough sleep.

This one will speak for itself and is probably obvious but it's important. Sleep is so so so important and if you want to look less tired in the morning this is the number one way how to. Getting enough sleep is important for energy the next day, bright and awake eyes, skin, and when you sleep at night it's been said you'll lose weight a lot quicker too if you're trying to lose weight. It's so important also for brain function because you're brain needs it's rest too. If you have bad insomnia try to set your own internal sleep clock. Start trying to go to bed earlier each night until you work up to 7.5-8 hours every night from the time you pass out until the time you wake up. Mine is 9:30 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. and it took me a few nights to get this routine down. First, start off going to bed 30 minutes earlier and wake up 30 minutes earlier, then the next night go to bed an hour earlier then wake up an hour earlier. Each day and night work your way up until you're where you want to be with your sleep schedule. This only took me about 3 days and it depends all on your old sleeping schedule.

4. Water

Yes, I'm bragging on water again which I tend to do a lot but it's so important for literally every reason. When you drink enough water your skin will thank you and if you drink enough throughout the night before you fall asleep you'll be hydrated the next day (keep drinking it anyways though) and you're skin and eyes will show for it. Meaning, drink water to look less tired because it's really going to help. Not only that but nothing wakes me up more than my first 24 oz. of really cold water in the morning. It also gets your metabolism going which is great in aiding in weight loss, if you're trying.

5. Wash your face when you wake up.

Whether you use a morning face wash or you use freezing cold water splashed on your face it's really good at waking you up. Once you wake up really well your face will normally reduce swelling caused from sleep because the blood flow and everything slows down in your sleep. Not only that but it's a great way to wake up in the morning and have really glowy clean skin to keep breakouts away.

One thing we've all dealt with and really don't like to, burn out. It comes so easily, so quickly, and can be so frustrating because we get in this phase where we don't have any clue what to write nor do. We get stuck in this one spot and can't move because we don't have motivation. It absolutely sucks but especially when you're a blogger or YouTuber because those two jobs require creativity and motivation. If you don't have motivation how are you going to get work done? Well, I'm here to help you figure out how.

There are a ton of great ways to stay productive even when it seems impossible. When you're really feeling unmotivated and like you just don't want to get any work done for the day or at all, this post is here for you when you need it. It can be so hard to pick yourself back up when you hit burn out but know that it's not impossible. I took probably a month off of my blog for this reason and told myself I was just going to quit, don't ever be a quitter. Nobody got where they wanted to be in life by quitting and that's what I reminded myself so I came back. Now I post daily and am feeling more creative and inspired than ever. Sometimes you just need to step back, hit reset, and start over. It's totally possible to get motivated and productive again and I'm going to tell you exactly how.

1. Don't push yourself.

When you don't feel like writing, filming, or editing and you can't even think to motivate yourself to do it don't do it. I know this sounds crazy but take the day off to relax and try to get back into that motivational mindset to get you back to work tomorrow. If you push yourself too hard and do too much in one day you won't really want to keep doing it. You'll feel like it's more of a chore or like you're forced to do it and won't want too anymore. So just take the day off when you feel this way, it's okay to take a day off. Think about it this way, if you can take sick days at a regular salaried job you can this way too!

2. Stay organized.

Have you ever had your desk cluttered or room and you just couldn't focus? I've had that happen and it's like it clutters your mind while you're trying to work because you can't find a single thing, it doesn't smell nor feel clean or good, and it just overall sucks. To get rid of that feeling, get organized and clean up your workspace. Once it's clean I can't explain how much better you'll feel and be able to get more work done. It's also really motivating to work in a clean space.

3. Get motivated.

This one isn't very easy but it's possible. When you're feeling unmotivated, of course, you aren't going to want to write or film it's totally normal! The thing is though if it's your job you have to treat it like a job and get the work done. So how do you do that with no motivation? Get motivated. Find things that motivate you. For example, you could watch motivation YouTube videos, I love productive morning routines or a day in the life of a blogger/youtuber. You could also look up motivational quotes on Pinterest and WeHeartIt, search up your favorite celeb or blogger or YouTuber and let them motivate you. Listen to some happy music to get you in a good upbeat positive mood. Whatever motivates you, do it and I promise once you're motivated you'll want to get work done and will kick complete butt.

4. Reward yourself.

This is a method that really helps when it comes to motivation also. When you don't feel like doing something for the day, and this works on fitness too, tell yourself if you do it you'll buy yourself ice cream later or a new outfit or something you've really been wanting to buy. That'll not only motivate you but you'll be getting something great out of it too!

5. Cute office/desk supplies and decor.

This one is a great tip for staying motivated productive. When you have cute office supplies and decor, of course, you'll be more motivated to sit at your desk and actually want too! Get a comfy yet cute chair to get work done in and some cute decor and organization systems and you'll be living your best life and working hard!

So I hope that these tips help you to stay productive and get motivated! If you liked it don't forget to share and comment below you're favorite tip on the post and aslo how you stay productive! Thank you so much for reading and check back soon for more. Don't forget to sign up for my email list so you can stay updated each time a new post is live. :)

howto hormonal breakouts skincare products

We all have this issue and we all have to fight with this every month, or most of us. It's one of the most annoying things in existence and painful things. In all honesty, I wish we all didn't have to ever but it's a part of life. Although they are a part of being human it still feels awful from cramps and moodiness and all of the above and on top of all of that acne definitely does not make it any better. The only thing I know I want to do when this happens is stay in bed the full seven days and not move and eat chocolate and watch The Notebook and The Choice but in all honesty, we all got work to do.

So what exactly do you do to get rid of these pests that try to make that time of the month even worse than it already is? Is it impossible to get rid of them during that 7 days? The answer to the first question is, keep reading this post and the second is no it's not impossible and is totally easier than you think. If you want to know how then just keep reading.

1. Wash your face twice a day.

This may seem like a lot, or even too much in your book. Just stick with me here, okay? When you're about to start your cycle and when you're on it your hormones are everywhere so it's obviously 10x easier to see pimples come up everywhere compared to a normal regular day. Not only that but it seems like everything is increasing including oil or dryness in your face. Have you ever noticed that? So, you should wash your face twice a day, which you should already anyway because it's going to make sure you get all of that dirt and oil out of your skin so that way even when the hormones kick in there's no dirt or oil causing any extra issues.

2. Use spot treatment.

A ton of brands have some really great spot treatments and my by far favorite is the Eradi Kate acne treatment. Not only does this just fight current breakouts but it also fights future ones from occurring. This is great when you have bad hormonal breakouts because it really gets in there and fights it all off. The packaging is also really really cute and you can get this product at Ulta and Nordstrom or of course online. It's super helpful and really fights those nasty breakouts you don't wanna see ever again.

3. Moisturize.

This is something I can't stress enough. Even if you have oily skin this step is still really important. Moisturizing really helps your skin when it's dry but it also helps with oily skin because some days when you wash your face a ton, take a hot shower, etc. your skin will dry up a little and you can avoid that by applying a good moisturizer that really helps prevent dryness and flakiness. The moisturizer I love using is Renergie Lift Multi-Action Night Cream by Lancome. It's not too heavy but also not too light and gets the job completely done and leaves my skin leaving silky smooth and brand new again. Also, another one I love by Lancome but it's a bit on the pricier side but totally worth it is the ABSOLUE L’EXTRAIT CREAM ELIXIR it works freaking magic wonders and feels so good when and after I use it.

4. Water.

You can research this and look it up anywhere but water is your best friend any and everyday especially when it comes to skincare. If you drink enough water daily I guarantee your skin will clear up so well it's going to be like magic. Not only that but water is great for detoxing your body which is really good to do before, during, or after a cycle. It's really important that you drink enough and stay hydrated. Your skin, body, and mind will thank you so much for it after a little while.

Those were all of my tips on how to treat hormonal breakouts during your monthly! Hopefully, this post was super informative and helpful to you all and check back soon for more great beauty and skincare tips! :)

skincare products clinique routine

As a beauty blogger, I should always be on the verge of trying to find new great skincare and beauty products to try out and also to take good care of my skin and beauty itself. Skincare is something that is so important to me because think about it, it's the thing that holds us all together. Not trying to brag but not one time in my life have I gotten a huge breakout and more than 3 pimples on my face. It's just something I really worry about and take care of. It's important to take care of your skin it not only affects how you look but also how you feel. Think about it, when was the last time you had a pimple or a few and just hated to look at it and it bothered you up until it finally cleared away? It's pretty annoying am I right? Exactly.

That's why I'm writing this post for you all. I know how it feels and how skin care can be something that's pretty hard to keep up with. When your busy all day from work or errands and you come home late and just want to crash the last thing you feel like doing is taking off your makeup you just want to pass out. It's something we've all been through and still struggle with from time to time. Like I said though, skincare is super important and it also makes your makeup 10x easier when you are completely breakout free or almost completely breakout free.

So, if you want to know how I keep my skin flawless and pimple free just keep reading. Also, don't forget if you want to stay updated when my posts go live just follow and subscribe on the right-hand side and I'll also leave a link at the end of this post so you can subscribe to my email list where I will update you by email everytime I upload a new post. :) Now I'll stop rambling and get into the post.

STEP 1 CLEAN

As I said earlier I know when you get home from a long day all you want to do is crash. Although it's really nice to do so it's also super important that you remove all your makeup and really get all that dirt and sweat from throughout the day off. The number one cause of breakouts is obviously, clogged pores. That's something that makeup and dirt and sweat and oils will do to your face. The thing I love to do is just go ahead when I get home, change into some comfy clothes, and then start removing my makeup with either Neutrogena makeup wipes or my Clinique micellar gel and a cotton pad. Once it looks like I've gotten most of it off I'll go ahead and wash my face and since I was probably 15 I have used Clean & Clear foaming face wash. It has a super simple formula and it really gets in there and cleans. Not only that but it has a really simple smell that isn't too much and it's also great for oily or dry skin. After I use this face wash my skin feels really smooth and clean. Never have I had any issues using this face wash, only when I would stop using it.

STEP 2 EXFOLIATE

Now, this is something I've put into my skincare routine recently because I was noticing a ton of dry skin and it was severely bothering me. In all honesty, I wasn't ever exfoliating and I feel this is the reason why. You should do this at least every other night to really get deep into your skin and those pores to scrub out all of the makeup and dirt that gets deep into your skin throughout the day. Not only that but it really helps with clogged pores from sweat and oil throughout the day too. Just make sure you use a really good moisturizer after because exfoliating is really tough on your skin. My all-time favorite exfoliator is the exfoliating scrub by Clinique. I really feel like it gets deep into my skin and really clears out all the nasty gunk from the day and just leaves my skin super soft and smooth.

STEP 3 MASK

No, I don't do this every single night I'll be honest. This is something though I love to do about 2-3 times a week because they are so good for skin and feel so great afterward. Not only that but they are so fun to do! Comment below if you love to use a face mask and then take a bunch of funny Snaps. That is my all time favorite thing to do when I use a face mask. Who says you can't have fun while taking care of your skin?!? My all time favorite masks by far are the Glam Glow masks and my favorite one so far is My Little Pony Gravitymud  Firming Treatment and they have these in pink, purple, and black glitter. They show the best results for me and are super fun to use. SOME HAVE GLITTER IN THEM, YOU GUYS!

STEP 4 MOISTURIZE

After all of these steps, we are finally down to the last. Moisturizing is something that is so so so important though after all of this work. Exfoliating and some masks can be crucial on the skin and while it removes all the oil, dirt, and toxins it can also leave your skin dried out the next day or so if you don't use the right masks especially. The last thing you want is dry flaky skin so it's good to have the perfect moisturizer. You want one that isn't too heavy but also isn't too light and gets the job done completely. My all-time go-to moisturizer that honestly gets the full job done and feels so good to use on my skin is the Lancome Renergie Lift Multi-Action Night Cream and the reason I love this product so much is because it literally works all night long. I'll put this on after my skincare routine and then go to bed and the next morning I'll wake up and my face is way soft.  It might be a little pricey but it's worth it in the end for the smooth face I get in the morning.

ALSO

After all of this is done I like to add one more step sometimes two. Almost all of my life I have fought with dark under eye circles from low iron because my iron is always low no matter if I take supplements or not. Maybe it's the cokes I drink then again maybe not, anyways... I love to go in with an under eye cream and my all time favorite product for this is the Tarte Maracuja C Brighter Eye Treatment. Not only do I love this product because it's by Tarte but it also works wonders on dark circles and puffiness. I'm a huge night owl so like I said almost all of my life I've dealt with dark circles from iron but also puffiness from being so tired and also mornings full of allergy attacks. With this though I'll wake up the next morning and I actually have normal looking eyes and it looks like I got 8+ hours of sleep. It's like magic in a jar and I'm so blessed to have this product in my life.

Andddd that was it for this post! As you can tell skincare is super important to me and I always have to make sure to stray away from breakouts because my skin is super important to me. If only I worked out as much as I work on my skincare... ugh. Anyways, I sincerely hope you all enjoyed reading this post as much as I did writing it and if you would like to try out any of the products I mentioned they are all linked throughout the post so you can check them out for yourself. everyday makeup routine rushed

Hey loves and welcome back to my blog!

Today's post is going to be my everyday makeup routine for when I'm in a rush and need to hurry up and get dressed and out the door. This is a really simple and quick makeup routine without all the extra stuff so if you are looking for my regular everyday slowed down full-face makeup routine you can go check out my everyday makeup routine video on YouTube I did a few weeks ago! Here's the link >>> Everyday Makeup Routine Now, let's get into the post!

So whether you need advice on how to get ready fast in the mornings so you can have more time to eat or sleep in, this is the post for you. My everyday makeup routine when I'm in a hurry is really simple and doesn't take longer than ten to fifteen minutes. It's super simple and easy to do but it really looks like you put in a ton of effort. So, if you want to read my in a rush/hurry everyday makeup routine, just keep reading!

- So the first thing I love to start doing is to just wash my face really quickly in the morning right after brushing my teeth. It doesn't take long at all to do and it's really good to make sure you wash your face every morning and night just as you would brush your teeth. Skincare is so so so important especially when you're in a hurry to throw makeup on your face.

- The next thing I love to do is throw on a moisturizer because you shouldn't forget to really hydrate your skin just because you are in a hurry. Makeup does a lot of things to your skin and you shouldn't have to worry about it breaking nor drying your skin out so I always love to just throw on a little moisturizer in the morning right after washing my face.

-After that, I'll start with foundation and I'll just apply that to my face and blend it out well like normal.

-Then I'll use my concealer as to conceal obviously but also to quickly highlight so I add that under my eyes to cover the dark circles, over acne for extra coverage, and also in between my brows, the middle of the bridge of my nose, and a little in the center of my chin under my lip. After that I'll just blend that out really well till it works as a highlight.

- Then I'll go in with my E.L.F. contour palette and just use the shade before the darkest one and just apply that right under my cheekbones and blend that well then the bridge of my nose really quickly and also the temples of my forehead.

- Once I'm done with contour I'll go in with my ProFusion Face palette and I'll use my highlighter in there and just apply that quickly to the bridge and tip of my nose, my cheeks, and my temples and cupids bow.

- After highlight, I'll go ahead and throw on my favorite shimmery gold shade out of my blushed nudes palette and blend that all over my lid and up to my brow bone.

-Then I go in with my E.L.F palette again and use that darkest shade and brush out my brows then fill them in as quick as I possibly can with that dark brown color.

- After brows, I curl my lashes really quickly and then throw on a few coats of mascara and normally for an everyday look for lips I'll just go with a good nude lip color so I usually use my loreal kate collection in the color rock n' roll nude and apply that.

- Then I just use my E.L.F setting spray about 2 sprays on my face and then I'm ready to go!

Now as for hair I like to just keep it simple when I'm in a hurry so if it's good to go I'll brush it and go, but if it's a mess or frizzy I like to throw it into a cute bun or braid.

That was all for this post loves! I hope you all enjoyed reading and check back soon for more. :) Also, if you haven't checked out my YouTube channel I definitely recommend because I do a lot of beauty videos and of course makeup tutorials and routines!

healthy productive summer morning routine

Hey loves and welcome back to my blog! For today's post, I wanted to share with you what I love to do every single morning and what my morning beauty routine is. So this includes all of my skincare and beauty secrets that I love to use the second that I wake up.

In all honesty, I love watching and reading these posts and videos so I hope you all enjoy mine as well! Anyways, I'll stop rambling on and let you all enjoy the post. :)

  • The first thing I love to do when I get up in the morning is just head straight for my Keurig. Nothing is better than waking up to my caffeine and it just gives me that good headstart I need for the day. Then I'll go ahead and make myself some breakfast too because I want to go ahead and eat and get even more energized before I get ready for my workout.
  • After I'm good and full I'll grab a water or make a water bottle and stick it in the freezer so it's nice and cold for when I go for my run and walk.
  • While I wait on that to cool I head into my bathroom and just brush my teeth, wash my face, and do a good hairstyle for running. Most of the time I'll just throw my hair up into a ponytail because it keeps my hair out of my face and braids normally fall out of my hair in 5 seconds because of how thick my hair is. I don't know why it happens but it does. Plus I've always been a ponytail type of girl so it works well for me.
  • Then I'll just throw on my workout gear and running shoes take my vitamins really quick grab my headphones and water bottle and head out the door.
  • Normally I'll walk to the park because it's only about 5 minutes from my house plus it's a really good warm up. Then once I get there I'll walk the track a few times until I feel good and warmed up and then I'll pound the pavement and run my heart out until I can't take it anymore.
  • Usually, I'm out there for about 30 minutes but sometimes longer it just depends on how long I'm feeling it that day just as long as I get a good 30 minutes in and a good sweat out then I'm pretty good to go after that.
  • Then I'll just walk back home completely exhausted and the only thing holding me together is my beats by this point. Once I get back home I'll hop in a hot shower to get all of the icky sweat off of me and get me fresh and clean again because nobody likes to be sweaty and stinky.
  • Then after I get out I moisturize from head to toe in my favorite lotion and then I'll brush my teeth again, sometimes blow dry my hair if I'm feeling up to it, and do my skincare routine (which is coming soon) and then do my makeup and hair for the day.
  • Once I'm finished getting ready I like to pick out a cute outfit for the day depending on what the weather is like and throw that on. Even if I do stay in for the day I like to stay dressed up to work because it keeps me motivated and not wanting to go to sleep since I work from home.
  • After that, I'll deal with what I need to get done and probably grab something to eat because I'm normally starving after I run in the mornings. So I'll grab something to eat and either run errands, get some work done, or whatever I need to get done for the day!
So that was all for this post loves! I hope you all enjoyed reading and check back M-F for more posts. Also, comment below what your favorite thing to do when you wake up is. Love to connect with you all! :)

Best Budget Beauty Finds List Drugstore Favorites

Hey loves! For today's post I wanted to share with you my best beauty finds on a budget. All of these products are available at drug stores, your local Walmart, etc. They might not be available in your city but if so these are the products I use and highly recommend. These products are my literal holy grail because they are super affordable and I can pick them up in my hometown and not have to wait for them to come in when I run out which is a great convenience.

Anyways, I wanted to share this with you guys because as someone that is on a budget for beauty finds I definitely don't spend a ton on makeup that's high end right this second. It's just something I can't really afford right now even if I wanted and on top of that, some of these drugstore products are just as good! Anyways, these are my favorite budget beauty finds and I hope you enjoy reading this post!

- Profusion Face Palette
This is the palette I use for literally everything. From contour to shadows, to lip color, brows, it has everything all in one. Honestly, it even has a highlighter so I could use this and never have to use anything else. It's also super affordable and I found mine at my local dollar general for $10!
- ELF Contour and Highlight Palette
This one is another one I use for every look. The contour from the 3rd shade and the white highlighter is perfect for a night time glow against the moonlight or city lights. This palette is everything and I probably use it more than anything in my collection. Plus, it's super affordable and I actually found it at my local Walmart.

- Covergirl Clean Foundation
This foundation has been my go-to since I was probably 16-17. It gives me great coverage and doesn't leave my skin looking oily or too shiny. Add over a good finishing powder and you're covered.
- Naked 3 Palette
My absolute favorite palette for shadow is this one. I know it's not available at drugstores or anything but it's worth the hype. Its colors are perfect and go so well when blended together and I use the color trick almost every single day on every single look and blend that with blackheart and it just looks phenomenal. Never did I think I could make my shadow look so good and blended until I got this palette.
- Real Techniques Makeup Brushes Set
These are my go-to brushes no matter what. They sell these I believe at Walmart but I've had these for about 2 years now I think and they just work so well and have held together for THIS long. Not only are they incredible but they are also super cute and have the best design and color to them and they have a ton of different brushes and designs.
- NYX Full Figured Mascara
This is my number 1 mascara and number 2 is below. This one though gives me the best coverage for my blonde lashes... and it just gives me great volume. Love love love this mascara and it doesn't make my eyes itch like most do, I think I might be allergic to something in the other brands. Anyways, this one doesn't have that effect on me which I love.
- Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara
My second favorite is this mascara because it gives me even more volume and makes me look like my lashes are a lot thicker than they actually are. Not only that but it also doesn't make my eyes itch just like the one above doesn't. Not only that but if you get the waterproof it literally sticks so well and takes forever to get off at night because it works THAT WELL. I highly recommend.
- Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lip by Kate Collection
This lipstick is literally the smoothest feel but so matte that it looks like I put a ton of effort in, but I really didn't. I use this color linked above for every single look almost and it's my definite go-to color for daily wear. It's so cute especially paired with the color below.
- Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color Lipstick
This gloss, they call a lipstick for some reason but it's really a gloss, is my favorite. It smells so good and has the best matte finish to it once it dries. It's so pretty and goes so well with any look you go for and any outfit. It's just a good nude color that looks pretty but also casual. Love love love and highly recommend this. They have a ton of different scents and colors and they all smell so yummy and look incredible. Oh, they taste good too. :)

So that was all for this post loves. All of the products I recommended are fairly cheap and I use these on a daily basis or at least everytime I wear makeup, I don't every day of course. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed reading and check back M-F for more posts. :)

Makeup Products I Use On a Daily Basis

Hey loves and welcome back to my blog! For today's post, I wanted to share with you guys the makeup products I use on a daily basis. Now, these are products I use literally every single time that I wear makeup. No, of course, I do not wear makeup every single day because there's no point when I'm not going out but on filming days and days I go out or to town or something I always dress up a little at least and these are the products I always use every single time.

A side note also before we get started on this post, I am not rich by any means and don't have a ton of beauty and makeup products like most bloggers and YouTubers do. In all honesty, I don't make that sort of income yet and there is no possible way that I could afford that right now because you know, there are bills that always come first of course. So anyway, I just had to put that out there and now let's get to the post!

  1. Covergirl Clean Foundation. This is my go-to and has been since probably 9th grade. It's just always done well with my skin tone and has really great coverage. The only other foundation drugstore wise I think I have used and actually liked was FIT ME by Maybelline which it and the powder together are like magic. So, if I recommend a daily foundation to you guys it would be one of these two if you're like me and use drugstore products.
  2. E.L.F Contour & Highlight Palette. This palette is like my baby, I swear to you guys. I use this palette for EVERY look. It has everything I need in one palette and I literally even use the darkest shade in it for my brows. IT IS EVERYTHING.
  3. Profusion Face Palette. Now this one I use for my blush, my second layer of highlight because you can never have enough, and every now and again I'll use some eyeshadow shades out of it. It's a really great palette and the highlighter in this palette is poppinggg.
  4. NYX Full Figured Mascara. This mascara is literally the only one that doesn't bother my allergies nor feel gunky and annoying on my eyes. It's so easy to apply too and not once have I jabbed myself in the eye with this one so it's for sure a keeper.
  5. Rimmel London Kate Collection Shade 54. This color is perfect for any look and I wear it all the time matched with my Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Lip Gloss in the shade 'Creme Brulee' and they look bomb together and go with every look.
  6. E.L.F Setting Spray. This spray I love love love with everything in me. My makeup lasts all day with it so I never go a day without using this stuff.
  7. Naked 3 Palette. The best palette I own that I can actually afford. We all know this is eyeshadow and we all know Naked palettes are all bomb so I'm not gonna go into too much detail on this one.
That was my list for all of the makeup products that I love to use on a daily basis! I hope you guys enjoyed reading, comment below if you liked this post or just to connect with me. Also, don't forget to follow me on social media and subscribe to my YouTube channel! Thank you so so so much for reading and check back very soon for more! Every M-F a new post is up.

You guys... I finally did it... MY FIRST YOUTUBE VIDEO! It's so exciting and I can't wait for more to come from it. It's a lot of work when I'm working on a blog plus a YouTube channel because it takes me ten times longer right now to edit a video... but that's okay because it used to take me just as long to edit a blog post and now I can in a matter of like five minutes. Eventually, I'll get the hang of it and my videos will be absolutely fantastic but right now they work you know. Anyways, I've just always wanted to do YouTube and be like a beauty guru and well now I finally have my first video up! It was nerve-wracking because I wanted everything to be completely perfect but I realized you know I did the best I could and worked hard on it and people will appreciate that.

Also, you all should know every time I upload a new makeup tutorial or GRWM or whatever onto my channel, that same day I will make a post with a step by step guide on how I did the makeup. That way, if you aren't into videos then well here's my step by step blog post you can read and work with. So anyway, this is my first post based off of my first video which was Get Ready With Me | Every Day Makeup Routine. So, now I'm going to stop rambling and write you guys this post and I sincerely hope you enjoy this post.

P.S. Leave a comment below and recommend some looks you would love for me to try out and post on YouTube and on here. Would love to hear from you all some fun looks I should try out. Also, don't forget to follow my social media and SUBSCRIBE to my channel! Thank you all for reading. :)

  1. The first thing I always love to do for my everyday makeup routine is conceal. Normally I would use a primer before but on this day I was out so I just started off by using my concealer which is called camouflage and I believe it's by Hard Candy (I will link it below) and just conceal under my eyes, my nose to highlight a little, and of course an acne spot because we all have to fight those nasty things from time to time.
  2. After I'm done applying my concealer I just blend that all in really well using my fingers because they tend to work better for me when it comes to concealer.
  3. Once I am all blended out, I like to grab my foundation and I use the Covergirl Clean foundation which will be linked below. How I apply it is just dump a little onto my hand and take my finger and apply a little bit on each part of my face I want good coverage.
  4. Then I'll grab my foundation/blending brush and just blend that and apply it all over my face and a little towards my ears to ensure a good blend and there are no streaks and lines.
  5. Once I finish blending that out well, I grab my setting powder which is I believe by Bare Minerals and just apply that all over my face to blend out the liquid foundation and to set it all in.
  6. After I finish with that I like to start on contour and highlight. With my E.L.F contour and highlight palette, I just go in with the highlighter and my buffing brush and HEAVILY, because I love highlighter, add that onto my cheekbones, nose, cupid's bow, and temples on my forehead.
  7. Then I'll go in with my Face palette by Profusion and use the golden, and gorgeous I must say, highlighter and just apply that to the same places. Then I'll use my finger to add even more because sometimes the brush doesn't cut it.
  8. Once I finish with highlighter I like to start contouring. To contour, I use my E.L.F contour and highlight palette and go in with the third shade. Then I grab my contour brush and start under my cheekbones, blending that until it looks natural. After that's blended I'll go to the temples of my forehead where my hairline is and just blend that out really well too.
  9. To contour my nose I actually use my base shadow brush and just brush it on my nose as if it were paint. Then I like to blend it in really well with my fingers to make it look really natural.
  10. Once I'm all contoured, I like to start on my brows. The E.L.F palette is my friend again for this. So I use shade 4, the darkest shade in the palette, and my eyebrow tool and just brush my brows out and then turn to the angled side and start filling in my brows with that darkest shade. Honestly, I just go with how my brows look, I don't try to change them or make myself look fake or unnatural especially for this easy everyday makeup.
  11. Then I go in with my Naked 3 palette for my eyes and my base shadow brush and just use the shade trick which is the bright, sparkly, orange shade. Honestly, I wear this all the time because it's so pretty and really makes your eyes pop, especially blue eyes. So anyway, I'll just apply that to my lid then blend it up into my crease.
  12. Once that's all good and blended, I go in with my deluxe crease brush and the shade mugshot and then apply that into my crease. Most of the time I like to blend that out with my brush that's already in my palette.
  13. Then I go with the first shade in the palette the lightest one in my inner corners and just blend that with my finger. Then go in with my E.L.F palette's highlight and just add that to the inner corners and my brow bone just to add that extra pop to my eyes and make me look more awake.
  14. After I finish that I like to use my Naked 3 palette brush on the flat end and just stamp on a little more of trick on the inner part of my lid to make that color shine again.
  15. Now that I'm finished with my shadow, I go ahead and curl my lashes just using your literal most basic lash curler.
  16. Once I feel like I've got my lases curled enough I go in with my NYX full figured mascara which is absolutely my favorite because it never makes my lashes clumpy or boring. This mascara is literally the best. Then I'll just go in with my DEFINE-A-LASH volume mascara by Maybelline I believe which is really good if you don't put too much.
  17. While I wait for my mascara to dry I like to go ahead and do my lips. For this look, I used my Rimmel Kate Collection in the shade 54 or 54 and apply that and blend it in.
  18. Once that's applied evenly and enough, I like to go in with my Jordana sweet cream matte lip in the shade 01 creme brulee. It smells SO good and looks so so good. Normally, I don't like the way matte lip glosses make your lips look cracked or dried out but this one does such a good job and doesn't make your lips look that way.
  19. After I'm finished with my lips, I just go in with my E.L.F setting spray and spray that everywhere because who doesn't want all that hard work to stay on their face for as long as possible?!?
  20. Now that I'm all set and sprayed, I'm all finished with makeup. Then I just straighten or style my hair, however, I feel like for the day and I'm ready to go!
What did you guys think of my first video? Leave a comment below on it and/or some recommendations for some cute makeup looks I should try out and post on here and YouTube. I hope you all enjoyed this post and check back MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY, yes M-S because I love blogging that much... for more great posts! Hope you all enjoyed this post.

Thank you for all of your love and support!!! XOXO, Dawn.
