Must Have Beauty Products That Every Skincare Routine Needs

We all know the struggle of finding good products that work great with our skin. Whether you have oily, dry, or combination skin it’s really hard to find products that work right with your skin that don’t cost a fortune. Honestly, I think we’ve all been down this road of just trying to find our perfect products and get the perfect routine down. It’s a great idea as well to switch it up every few months too, your skin gets pretty used to using the same products and then you end up back at square one. Over the years I have found the best products that I can keep using or just change up my routine a little and they still work great with my combination skin. I figured why not share them with you! Links are also provided so you can check out the ingredients and other reviews and see about trying them out for yourself.

PSA I’d never share anything on my site, I haven’t tried myself or wouldn’t.

  1. A Good Moisturizer

This by far is my favorite moisturizer, 24/7 moisturizing, anti-aging, and it works better than any I’ve tried so far. Like I mentioned I have combination skin, so one day my skin could be oily the next dry as the sahara desert. This moisturizer works for the in between by moisturizing the dry skin but not over moisturizing and bringing out the oily skin again. Which is great because my oily skin makes me break out SO bad, so anytime I used any other moisturizer I ended up broken out within a week or so of using it. I HIGHLY recommend this product to use in your skincare routine. You can purchase it on Amazon as well and it’s super affordable! Here’s where you can check it out, Tula Moisturizer

  1. A Good Jade Roller + Gua Sha Combo

I had NO clue about these until my Mom actually bought one and I was like what in the world is that thing? And she showed me and I was AMAZED not only at how good it felt but what it done after a few times of using them. These are great for shaping, yes shaping, your face. You know how when you wake up and have all of that puffiness in your face? These help tremendously with that issue. They are also really great at helping apply moisturizer and serums. I HIGHLY recommend trying these out and looking more into getting them. Here’s the link to the one my Mom purchased if you’re wanting to learn more or grab a set of your own! Gua Sha and Jade Roller Combo

  1. A Great Serum

We all love a great serum, not only do they help aid moisturizer but they are the key to avoiding breakouts and helping brighten your skin to give you that glowy look. The Ordinary is a GREAT brand that has a ton of great products and especially serums. I highly recommend these because it comes with the three and they have saved my skin from breakouts so much. The Ordinary Serums

4.Cute Face Masks!

My favorite part of skincare is getting these super cute character face masks and having a good time! Especially if you have kids, nephews/nieces, or younger siblings to do them with. Not only are these cute and fun but these really do help my skin bounce back when it’s super dry/dull. They give a lot of moisturizing without making you too oily. They help give you that glow I mentioned earlier, plus they are super cute and fun.. Who wouldn’t want them?! You can grab yours here… Epielle Character Face Masks

5. Best Makeup Remover

By far my favorite makeup remover, especially since it doesn’t even burn your eyes! I used to be obsessed with buying those wipes and just scrubbing off my face but they either hardly got any off or burned when it got in my eye. I read up on micellar water and tried it out for myself and never went back! It’s GREAT at removing makeup and it actually makes your skin feel very refreshed/clean when you get done removing all your makeup. To take it off I got some of those cotton rounds, apply a generous amount, and start removing and I don’t even have to scrub to get my makeup off. Glides right off. Can’t recommend this one enough, here’s where you can grab it off amazon.. Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

6. Best Under Eye Cream

I know what you’re thinking… Cetaphil… really? REALLY! This stuff works wonders on dark circles and really works wonders on smoothing underneath your eyes. If you have creases from puffiness and dark circles like me, you NEED this. Not only do I recommend it, so does Amazon. Cetaphil Under Eye Cream

So those are all of my recommendations for this post but I have plenty more where that came from, these are just my daily products and favorites. I hope you enjoyed reading this post and be sure to follow the blog for more great recommendations, reviews, and routines! Comment below what your favorite products are or your routine. :)

halloween horror movies october

Maybe some of us love horror movies, and maybe some of us don't. Here's the thing, I grew up on them and absolutely love the adrenaline and thrill of horror movies. It's just a weird/different feeling that interests me so much and I just love the suspense of them. So, if you want any good recommendations or anything, you came to the right place because I've seen a ton of great ones.

1. Insidious
This will forever be one of my favorites. It's just so suspenseful yet interesting and just so different compared to the typical "haunted house" film. I love every one of these movies and highly recommend them. The first one is by far my favorite but they are all great.

2. The Conjuring
This movie, the first time I watched it, kept me up all night. I was utterly terrified and couldn't sleep for anything and this movie was the only one that could ever do it to me. I'm sure most of you have seen it but if not it's definitely a good one to watch but just be careful, you probably won't be able to sleep. I was terrified of my closet after this one.

3. Annabelle
This one is absolutely great in many ways. Not only is this doll completely creepy but it has a ton of great jump scares. This one didn't keep me up all night like The Conjuring but it surely kept me on the edge of my seat and had me freaked out for the next few hours afterward. Also, I got rid of all the porcelain dolls my Mom had stored in my room because they freaked me out after watching this movie.

4. Sinister
This movie is literally so creepy it gave me chills. It was terrifying but also so good and interesting because of the actual storyline. Honestly, I'd give these 10/10 because they were so good.

5. Coraline
Now to get more into the cartoon version of Halloween movies Coraline is a great one. It's got that little scare and creepiness in it from button eyes to getting almost trapped in another world. It's a great cartoon movie that is creepy, but not too much for a younger audience to watch too.

6. The Corpse Bride
The classic go-to animated Halloween movie. I love this movie so much and it's not creepy it's just cute to be honest, to me anyways. I really love this because it would be creepy to little kids but for mid-age and up it's really good and just overall really cute. This is the perfect Halloween movie to watch in the morning or mid-day to put you in that Fall mood.

7. Halloween
Back to spooky but more of a classic. We all know about Halloween movies and they are SO good. I can't even put into words at how much I love Michael Meyers and how much I would pick him over any classic horror movie character. They also are supposed to be coming out with a new one October 19th, which I plan on seeing because it looks so good and I love some Michael Meyers.

8. Nightmare on Elm Street
Who does not love to watch a little Freddy Kreuger? The literal other classic. I love love love to watch these movies but the last one they made and released was obviously my favorite. It was so good and had a great amount of scary with the perfect story-line. Just watch out kids, he'll come for you in your dreams. :)

9. Veronica
Honestly, this one's a sort of new one but it's really good. It's a Netflix original and has a ton of hype that really is worth watching. It's so good and would be even better if it was in English and you didn't have to read subtitles, but it has an AMAZING amount of jump scares and it's just completely creepy and kept me up all night just like The Conjuring which I didn't think could be beaten. I highly recommend.

10. Poltergeist
Not really one that most people love, but I loved it. It was so different compared to the, again, typical "haunted house" film and was just really suspenseful. It's not one for many jump scares but I do recommend it if you love suspense or creepy things. I've never watched the classic but I did watch the newest one that came out, a few times actually.

So those were my 10 picks for my favorite fall films. They are so good and I highly recommend them and giving them a try anyways. Take it from the horror movie queen, haha. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed reading this post and comment below your favorite horror films and also your pick on this question: Freddy or Jason? :) Thanks for reading loves and check back tomorrow for a new spooktastic blogtober post.

hair care products summer favorites

Hair is one of the most important things to a female in beauty no doubt. One of the most cared for things on my body or in my beauty routine period is my hair. Since middle school if not earlier than that I've always gotten compliments on my hair whether it was short or long or whatever people would always tell me how great my hair looks, how healthy it looks, etc. So of course, I use the perfect hair care products in it.

It's important if you want healthy hair to take care of it by paying attention to every strand possible. You always want to wash it only when needed so I like to wash mine 3 times a week sometimes 4 because shampooing really strips your hair and that's never good. Also, I always love to use a ton of conditioner because if you're like me and you have thick hair then you should use a lot more than the recommended amount I don't care what the bottle says on this. It's important to keep the strands moisturized and healthy.

So anyway, I am really OCD about taking great care of my hair. Honestly, I always have been. Never did I use too much heat on my hair all of the time because I didn't like to style it with heat anyways. Just make sure you don't do that because we all know how bad heat can damage the hair. Okay, I'll stop rambling on and let's get into the hair products I'm loving this summer that keep my hair soft, shiny, and super healthy.

1. Bed Head Colour Goddess Oil Infused Shampoo. This is my all-time favorite shampoo because yes I have colored hair but not only because of that reason but it really helps with the dryness from coloring my hair. Since it is oil infused it sort of replaces all of what the hair dye takes out of my hair leaving it smooth, silky, shiny, and strong.

2. Style + Protect Refresh & Go Dry Shampoo. This product is perfect for hot summer days when you sweat like crazy and either end up smelling super sweaty and gross or your hair gets really oily. Not only that but this one is perfect for after your workouts, when you don't have the time to shower one morning, or when you're like me and only wash your hair 3-4 times a week this is a life saver. It smells really good and does the complete job. It's like a shower in a spray can.

3. It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product. Okay, I can't explain this one enough. This product is amazing and literally leaves my hair looking and feeling like a million bucks. All I do is apply this after my shower while my hair is still damp and leave it in and it makes my hair so soft and feel so healthy that I can't put it into words. I'm not even going to explain it because I can't you just have to try it for yourself and see what I mean.

4. Living Proof No Frizz Nourishing Oil. Now as most of you know, I live in Mississippi and humidity here is insane and it does rain sometimes quite a lot. My hair is very prone to frizz when it's humid outside and I have to go out. It's also really prone to frizziness after workouts and I get my hair all messy and sweaty and after I shower and let it air dry and brush it out. This oil really really really saves me from it though. Not only does it nourish my hair perfectly but it keeps the frizz so far away and I absolutely love this product on rainy, wet, and humid days. It's also perfect in the winter to try and stay away from static and things like that.

5. PHYTOPHANÈRE Dietary Supplement for Hair & Nails. This product is another way I take great care of my hair and it's also super easy compared to the other ways. All I have to do is take one of these in the morning with my breakfast is when I prefer to and it does its magic. Used to, I thought supplements for hair and nails were crazy up until I started them and really realized what a difference it makes.

So those were all of the hair care products I've been using over the summer and absolutely love! I hope you all liked reading this post and found some great products for yourself to try out and love too. Thank you so much for reading and sign up for my emails for more updates on new posts and more! Also, comment below if you have any hair care favorites and what your's are!

Thank you for all the love and support! xoxoxo -Dawn

howto hormonal breakouts skincare products

We all have this issue and we all have to fight with this every month, or most of us. It's one of the most annoying things in existence and painful things. In all honesty, I wish we all didn't have to ever but it's a part of life. Although they are a part of being human it still feels awful from cramps and moodiness and all of the above and on top of all of that acne definitely does not make it any better. The only thing I know I want to do when this happens is stay in bed the full seven days and not move and eat chocolate and watch The Notebook and The Choice but in all honesty, we all got work to do.

So what exactly do you do to get rid of these pests that try to make that time of the month even worse than it already is? Is it impossible to get rid of them during that 7 days? The answer to the first question is, keep reading this post and the second is no it's not impossible and is totally easier than you think. If you want to know how then just keep reading.

1. Wash your face twice a day.

This may seem like a lot, or even too much in your book. Just stick with me here, okay? When you're about to start your cycle and when you're on it your hormones are everywhere so it's obviously 10x easier to see pimples come up everywhere compared to a normal regular day. Not only that but it seems like everything is increasing including oil or dryness in your face. Have you ever noticed that? So, you should wash your face twice a day, which you should already anyway because it's going to make sure you get all of that dirt and oil out of your skin so that way even when the hormones kick in there's no dirt or oil causing any extra issues.

2. Use spot treatment.

A ton of brands have some really great spot treatments and my by far favorite is the Eradi Kate acne treatment. Not only does this just fight current breakouts but it also fights future ones from occurring. This is great when you have bad hormonal breakouts because it really gets in there and fights it all off. The packaging is also really really cute and you can get this product at Ulta and Nordstrom or of course online. It's super helpful and really fights those nasty breakouts you don't wanna see ever again.

3. Moisturize.

This is something I can't stress enough. Even if you have oily skin this step is still really important. Moisturizing really helps your skin when it's dry but it also helps with oily skin because some days when you wash your face a ton, take a hot shower, etc. your skin will dry up a little and you can avoid that by applying a good moisturizer that really helps prevent dryness and flakiness. The moisturizer I love using is Renergie Lift Multi-Action Night Cream by Lancome. It's not too heavy but also not too light and gets the job completely done and leaves my skin leaving silky smooth and brand new again. Also, another one I love by Lancome but it's a bit on the pricier side but totally worth it is the ABSOLUE L’EXTRAIT CREAM ELIXIR it works freaking magic wonders and feels so good when and after I use it.

4. Water.

You can research this and look it up anywhere but water is your best friend any and everyday especially when it comes to skincare. If you drink enough water daily I guarantee your skin will clear up so well it's going to be like magic. Not only that but water is great for detoxing your body which is really good to do before, during, or after a cycle. It's really important that you drink enough and stay hydrated. Your skin, body, and mind will thank you so much for it after a little while.

Those were all of my tips on how to treat hormonal breakouts during your monthly! Hopefully, this post was super informative and helpful to you all and check back soon for more great beauty and skincare tips! :)

skincare products clinique routine

As a beauty blogger, I should always be on the verge of trying to find new great skincare and beauty products to try out and also to take good care of my skin and beauty itself. Skincare is something that is so important to me because think about it, it's the thing that holds us all together. Not trying to brag but not one time in my life have I gotten a huge breakout and more than 3 pimples on my face. It's just something I really worry about and take care of. It's important to take care of your skin it not only affects how you look but also how you feel. Think about it, when was the last time you had a pimple or a few and just hated to look at it and it bothered you up until it finally cleared away? It's pretty annoying am I right? Exactly.

That's why I'm writing this post for you all. I know how it feels and how skin care can be something that's pretty hard to keep up with. When your busy all day from work or errands and you come home late and just want to crash the last thing you feel like doing is taking off your makeup you just want to pass out. It's something we've all been through and still struggle with from time to time. Like I said though, skincare is super important and it also makes your makeup 10x easier when you are completely breakout free or almost completely breakout free.

So, if you want to know how I keep my skin flawless and pimple free just keep reading. Also, don't forget if you want to stay updated when my posts go live just follow and subscribe on the right-hand side and I'll also leave a link at the end of this post so you can subscribe to my email list where I will update you by email everytime I upload a new post. :) Now I'll stop rambling and get into the post.

STEP 1 CLEAN

As I said earlier I know when you get home from a long day all you want to do is crash. Although it's really nice to do so it's also super important that you remove all your makeup and really get all that dirt and sweat from throughout the day off. The number one cause of breakouts is obviously, clogged pores. That's something that makeup and dirt and sweat and oils will do to your face. The thing I love to do is just go ahead when I get home, change into some comfy clothes, and then start removing my makeup with either Neutrogena makeup wipes or my Clinique micellar gel and a cotton pad. Once it looks like I've gotten most of it off I'll go ahead and wash my face and since I was probably 15 I have used Clean & Clear foaming face wash. It has a super simple formula and it really gets in there and cleans. Not only that but it has a really simple smell that isn't too much and it's also great for oily or dry skin. After I use this face wash my skin feels really smooth and clean. Never have I had any issues using this face wash, only when I would stop using it.

STEP 2 EXFOLIATE

Now, this is something I've put into my skincare routine recently because I was noticing a ton of dry skin and it was severely bothering me. In all honesty, I wasn't ever exfoliating and I feel this is the reason why. You should do this at least every other night to really get deep into your skin and those pores to scrub out all of the makeup and dirt that gets deep into your skin throughout the day. Not only that but it really helps with clogged pores from sweat and oil throughout the day too. Just make sure you use a really good moisturizer after because exfoliating is really tough on your skin. My all-time favorite exfoliator is the exfoliating scrub by Clinique. I really feel like it gets deep into my skin and really clears out all the nasty gunk from the day and just leaves my skin super soft and smooth.

STEP 3 MASK

No, I don't do this every single night I'll be honest. This is something though I love to do about 2-3 times a week because they are so good for skin and feel so great afterward. Not only that but they are so fun to do! Comment below if you love to use a face mask and then take a bunch of funny Snaps. That is my all time favorite thing to do when I use a face mask. Who says you can't have fun while taking care of your skin?!? My all time favorite masks by far are the Glam Glow masks and my favorite one so far is My Little Pony Gravitymud  Firming Treatment and they have these in pink, purple, and black glitter. They show the best results for me and are super fun to use. SOME HAVE GLITTER IN THEM, YOU GUYS!

STEP 4 MOISTURIZE

After all of these steps, we are finally down to the last. Moisturizing is something that is so so so important though after all of this work. Exfoliating and some masks can be crucial on the skin and while it removes all the oil, dirt, and toxins it can also leave your skin dried out the next day or so if you don't use the right masks especially. The last thing you want is dry flaky skin so it's good to have the perfect moisturizer. You want one that isn't too heavy but also isn't too light and gets the job done completely. My all-time go-to moisturizer that honestly gets the full job done and feels so good to use on my skin is the Lancome Renergie Lift Multi-Action Night Cream and the reason I love this product so much is because it literally works all night long. I'll put this on after my skincare routine and then go to bed and the next morning I'll wake up and my face is way soft.  It might be a little pricey but it's worth it in the end for the smooth face I get in the morning.

ALSO

After all of this is done I like to add one more step sometimes two. Almost all of my life I have fought with dark under eye circles from low iron because my iron is always low no matter if I take supplements or not. Maybe it's the cokes I drink then again maybe not, anyways... I love to go in with an under eye cream and my all time favorite product for this is the Tarte Maracuja C Brighter Eye Treatment. Not only do I love this product because it's by Tarte but it also works wonders on dark circles and puffiness. I'm a huge night owl so like I said almost all of my life I've dealt with dark circles from iron but also puffiness from being so tired and also mornings full of allergy attacks. With this though I'll wake up the next morning and I actually have normal looking eyes and it looks like I got 8+ hours of sleep. It's like magic in a jar and I'm so blessed to have this product in my life.

Andddd that was it for this post! As you can tell skincare is super important to me and I always have to make sure to stray away from breakouts because my skin is super important to me. If only I worked out as much as I work on my skincare... ugh. Anyways, I sincerely hope you all enjoyed reading this post as much as I did writing it and if you would like to try out any of the products I mentioned they are all linked throughout the post so you can check them out for yourself. Don't forget to sign up for my email list and I hope you all enjoyed this post! Check back for more soon, or your email if you sign up for the list. :)

Real Sleep Mattress Review

Hey loves and welcome back to my blog!

For today's post, I wanted to share with you my night time beauty routine because I know I myself love to read these so I figured why not write one for you all! This post also includes a review of my new favorite mattress brand called, Real Sleep. They are absolutely amazing and this mattress is my literal new baby. No, I actually sleep like a baby on this mattress. They have the best mattresses and it is so comfy that I can't even hardly put it into words. It literally has helped my back since night one. I used to sleep on one of those old dingy mattresses that just felt like I slept with a spring in my back every single night but once I was gifted with this incredible blessing I have not had any issues sleeping at night what so ever. Another thing is I used to sleep from 10pm until around 2 am and be wide awake all morning then tired all the next day or I just wouldn't sleep at all, which was terrible, but now since I feel like I'm sleeping on a literal cloud I actually sleep through the whole entire night and it's so nice and such a better feeling because I don't spend the entire next day inhaling coffee trying to stay awake. I can't express in words how blessed I was to receive this mattress and to be able to share my experience with you all. It is incredible and I highly encourage you all to go check them out! They have the best customer service too and are so sweet and always get back to you quickly.

The mattresses are actually all a really great price too compared to most these are $1,295 which is well worth it for a great nights sleep! The quality of this bed is 100% worth it and I would recommend them to anyone I know. They also have a ton of sizes from twin size all the way up to California king! I definitely recommend going over to their site which is https://realsleep.com/ and checking them out and I HIGHLY recommend purchasing one because like I said, it has made my life.... ten times better. Literally, I've never had such great sleep like this up until now.

Now onto the post, which does include me bragging some more about my mattress at the end. :)

  • So the first thing I love to do when I get home from running errands or get finished working is just change into some comfy clothes. Normally I have to make dinner or whatever I need to get done so comfy clothes are mandatory for when I get home or get finished with work. There is literally nothing better at all.
  • Once I get into my favorite comfy pair of pajamas or lounge clothes I'll normally just make some food if I haven't eaten yet or grab something sweet because we all need it sometimes, and just lounge around on my couch and watch some Reba or FRIENDS.
  • After I've watched about literally 5 or 6 episodes of these shows, not kidding, I'll head into my bathroom and just go ahead and shower because I never shower in the morning they tend to make me more sleepy than wake me up.
  • Normally in the shower, I'll do the obvious things like wash my hair, face, body, and if needed I'll go ahead and exfoliate and shave.
  • After I hop out of the shower I like to pat myself dry, it's better for your skin actually, and then just moisturize with my favorite lotion all over. Then I like to put on some perfume because I have heard if you spritz some on right out of the shower your pores are still open so it makes the perfume scent last ten times longer.
  • After that, I'll moisturize my face and if I need to I'll cut and paint my nails which I hate doing but hey it has to be done.
  • Then I just add in my hair products and normally I just use the Loreal hair lotion and use about 4 pumps of that because I have pretty thick and long hair. Then I'll go ahead and blow dry my hair to get it over with because if I don't it ends up tangled up even more or just wavy and it looks a mess so I'd much rather blow dry it and get it over with. Then I just throw it up in a bun or ponytail.
  • After I'm done with all of that I'll go ahead and brush my teeth and floss and do all of the oral hygiene things I need to get done.
  • Then, once I finish with everything beauty wise, finally I know, I love to make myself some green tea plain with nothing in it and either read or watch a little more TV or just hang out on my phone. This is my wind down time right before I go to bed.
  • Then after I'm done with my tea I'll just go ahead and turn out all of the lights, turn off the TV, and climb in my comfy bed thanks to, Real Sleep, once again. :) Then literally just hit the hay because it feels like I'm sleeping on a complete cloud like I said and again I highly highly highly recommend them for anyone. Whether you have sleeping problems, back or neck problems, whatever it might be, go check them out and try out a mattress because you will not regret it.
That was it for this post loves and I hope you all enjoyed reading! Thank you so much for all of your support and check back M-F for new posts!

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT!!! XOXOXO -DAWN

Best Budget Beauty Finds List Drugstore Favorites

Hey loves! For today's post I wanted to share with you my best beauty finds on a budget. All of these products are available at drug stores, your local Walmart, etc. They might not be available in your city but if so these are the products I use and highly recommend. These products are my literal holy grail because they are super affordable and I can pick them up in my hometown and not have to wait for them to come in when I run out which is a great convenience.

Anyways, I wanted to share this with you guys because as someone that is on a budget for beauty finds I definitely don't spend a ton on makeup that's high end right this second. It's just something I can't really afford right now even if I wanted and on top of that, some of these drugstore products are just as good! Anyways, these are my favorite budget beauty finds and I hope you enjoy reading this post!

- Profusion Face Palette
This is the palette I use for literally everything. From contour to shadows, to lip color, brows, it has everything all in one. Honestly, it even has a highlighter so I could use this and never have to use anything else. It's also super affordable and I found mine at my local dollar general for $10!
- ELF Contour and Highlight Palette
This one is another one I use for every look. The contour from the 3rd shade and the white highlighter is perfect for a night time glow against the moonlight or city lights. This palette is everything and I probably use it more than anything in my collection. Plus, it's super affordable and I actually found it at my local Walmart.

- Covergirl Clean Foundation
This foundation has been my go-to since I was probably 16-17. It gives me great coverage and doesn't leave my skin looking oily or too shiny. Add over a good finishing powder and you're covered.
- Naked 3 Palette
My absolute favorite palette for shadow is this one. I know it's not available at drugstores or anything but it's worth the hype. Its colors are perfect and go so well when blended together and I use the color trick almost every single day on every single look and blend that with blackheart and it just looks phenomenal. Never did I think I could make my shadow look so good and blended until I got this palette.
- Real Techniques Makeup Brushes Set
These are my go-to brushes no matter what. They sell these I believe at Walmart but I've had these for about 2 years now I think and they just work so well and have held together for THIS long. Not only are they incredible but they are also super cute and have the best design and color to them and they have a ton of different brushes and designs.
- NYX Full Figured Mascara
This is my number 1 mascara and number 2 is below. This one though gives me the best coverage for my blonde lashes... and it just gives me great volume. Love love love this mascara and it doesn't make my eyes itch like most do, I think I might be allergic to something in the other brands. Anyways, this one doesn't have that effect on me which I love.
- Maybelline Define-A-Lash Volume Mascara
My second favorite is this mascara because it gives me even more volume and makes me look like my lashes are a lot thicker than they actually are. Not only that but it also doesn't make my eyes itch just like the one above doesn't. Not only that but if you get the waterproof it literally sticks so well and takes forever to get off at night because it works THAT WELL. I highly recommend.
- Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lip by Kate Collection
This lipstick is literally the smoothest feel but so matte that it looks like I put a ton of effort in, but I really didn't. I use this color linked above for every single look almost and it's my definite go-to color for daily wear. It's so cute especially paired with the color below.
- Jordana Sweet Cream Matte Liquid Lip Color Lipstick
This gloss, they call a lipstick for some reason but it's really a gloss, is my favorite. It smells so good and has the best matte finish to it once it dries. It's so pretty and goes so well with any look you go for and any outfit. It's just a good nude color that looks pretty but also casual. Love love love and highly recommend this. They have a ton of different scents and colors and they all smell so yummy and look incredible. Oh, they taste good too. :)

So that was all for this post loves. All of the products I recommended are fairly cheap and I use these on a daily basis or at least everytime I wear makeup, I don't every day of course. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed reading and check back M-F for more posts. :)

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT!! XOXOXO -DAWN
BUXOM FULL-ON LIP POLISH TOP COAT METALLIC FINISH REVIEW POST

Hi loves! Welcome back to my blog. For today's post, I wanted to bring you a review of these amazing lip products that I finally brought into my life. After careful research, watching what feels like a thousand videos for reviews on these, and going back on and off of the site to decide if I really needed to try them out... I finally decided to go for it. So now, here I am writing my review of these babies on the blog for you all so you'll have an honest full review on these lip polishes.

Also, little side note, whenever I write review posts, I am going to be brutally honest about the product. If I loved it, you'll know. If I hated it, you'll know. I would never ever tell you guys I love products that in reality I hate or would never use in my life. So that's what I'm doing for this post. Honesty is everything and I'm telling the full-on truth on these and any other future review posts. Also, Sunday's are for review days so just in case you all didn't know that, now you do so you'll know what to expect on Sunday posts.

So now I'll stop rambling on. Thank you all so so so much for reading. :)

Now the first thing I'm going to let you know is obviously the colors that I purchased because there are a ton and I don't want to review without letting you all know and you get a color that I didn't review and hate it. The shades I purchased are; MARIAH, SELENA, JORDAN, SAVANNAH, IRIS, and CAMILA.

So when you use these lip products, you have to remember they are a top coat meaning they go better over a base color. What I did was actually added a color to my lip first before I applied these that I felt like would go well with each certain shade. So for Mariah, it goes well with a nude lip or pink lip mostly because it has a pink tint to it. For Selena, it would go well with a dark purple, blue, something like that because it's a whiter tint and darker colors make it pop but you could also just use a good nude color or something light pink and that would look great too because it's a color you can use with just about any other color since it doesn't have a certain color to its shade. As for Jordan, it goes really well with a deep blue, light blue, black, purple, or something like that because it has that blue tint to it. Then Savannah is a really coral looking color so I recommend using it with a good nude or pink color underneath or just try it right onto your lip because it's got more of a pretty pink tint to it and should show up fine on its own. Now with Iris, it's a darker pink so it can also do well on its own but if you want a base color under it I would use a hot pink or medium-pigmented pink underneath to make the pink pop and shine even more. Last but not least, Camila. Camila goes very good with a nude lip because it's a very nude color in itself so that over a nude lip will just make your lips shine and pop even more.

Now onto the actual review of the product. The number one thing I noticed and loved about these polishes is that the shine is everything. These shine so much and once you put them over a good color it makes your lips look a lot bigger, which almost every woman loves these days including me. That's the number one thing I love about these because they aren't even "lip plumping" but they seem to make my lips look a lot bigger and overall just better. As for color, you'll have trouble with them showing up and just look like you licked your lips if you don't add something to it. Once you add a good base color under them though, the shine and color are absolutely incredible and totally pop.

So now,  I recommend you buy this product and is it worth spending money on? Absolutely. The other thing I love about these too is they aren't near as pricey as Kylie's lip kits and they have a ton of shine to them and just overall are a great product.

That was my review for these beauties you guys! I hope you all enjoyed reading and check back for posts every M-F. :)
