Best Foundations for Oily Skin

Oily skin, one of the most annoying problems we all get from time to time and end up with a face full of acne and shiny skin. It can be really frustrating to finally get your skin cleared up and then boom, you have oily skin again the next day. This is something I used to struggle with really badly as a teen but I finally got rid of it which I will give tips on in a whole different post.

For today's post though, I wanted to share with you all the best foundations for oily skin. I know how some foundations only end up making your skin more oily and then you apply it and your skin looks like a grease blob because of all the extra oil it decides to add onto your skin. It can be super frustrating and one tip I'll go ahead and give is to apply powder foundation over it or just powders on their own. They are really helpful at covering the oily spots plus they kind of absorb the oily look so you can't see it anymore and you look really mattified and your skin looks flawless. Okay, now into the best foundations for oily skin which is I'm sure what you all came here for. Also, side note, all of these foundations will be listed below for you to all checkout and try out for yourself! :) 

1.  Giorgio Armani Beauty Power Fabric Longwear Foundation. This foundation is a bit on the pricey side but it's such a great foundation. It lasts so long throughout the day without a ton of sweat or oil wearing it off. Not only that but the packaging is absolutely beautiful and I'd definitely say it's worth the price. 
2. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation. I'm pretty sure you've heard of Fenty Beauty by Rihanna by now. It was a huge hype a little while back and totally worth the hype. This foundation comes in a total of 40 shades so you are totally bound to find your shade. Not only is the shade range GREAT but this foundation literally lasts all day long and since it is a matte foundation it does really well with oily skin. It really does finish off looking matte and you don't have a ton of shine left afterward. Now if you do see any left AFTER you blend this out really well, you can go over it with a powder to absorb the excess moisture and you're good to go! The coverage of this foundation is amazing and you can find a ton of great reviews for it online and especially on YouTube! 
3. Bobbi Brown Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation SPF 15. Now this foundation comes in 30 different shades and is perfect for a good light-weight foundation. If you aren't a heavy makeup type of person and just like a good lightweight foundation that actually rids of that oily look this is the perfect one for you! Not only is it great but the packaging is really cute and it also has SPF in it which I say more foundations need especially in the summertime to protect your skin from the harmful rays of the sun! This one's an easy winner as well. 
4. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation. This was my first drugstore foundation and will forever be my favorite. It gives such great coverage and has a 40-shade range which is perfect! This foundation gives such a good matte finish and just overall looks great. If you don't like the way it looks they also have powders in the same shades as the liquid foundation that you can top it off with! They look absolutely flawless put together and give the perfect coverage while lasting all day! 
5. NARS Velvet Matte Foundation Stick. Now this baby is great. It comes in a range of 20 shades and it's not a liquid foundation! Instead, it's a sort of thicker foundation because it comes in a stick which is great for a good matte finish. It also has a blender on the other end which really helps with coverage and also with blending! This would be great as a foundation or concealer! 
6. CoverGirl Clean Oil Control Foundation. This one is probably by far the best drugstore foundation out there, especially for oily skin. I have used this foundation for probably 2 years and will continue to for as long as possible. It's formulated specifically for oily skin and really helps to control the oil in your skin and obviously it does great at avoiding that excess moisture out of the foundation because it's made to avoid that! It also has really great coverage and is just overall a perfect foundation for oily skin!
